ABOUT
Lil has been singing and dancing since she was a young girl, having performed in musicals and choirs since elementary school. Lil’s mother was a major influence on her. Her parents were immigrants to the U.S. from South Korea and Lil is a first generation American. Lil’s mom was a pianist and opera singer. She grew up listening to classical music and operas. Lil trained in piano, violin, ballet, ice skating, competitive swimming, cycling, running, triathlons, yoga, pilates, dance (hip hop, Broadway, Chinese fan), self defense, escrima/eskrima and Japanese martial arts (yellow belt).
Lil is a successful commercial model, actress, host and producer. Lil has appeared in national commercials, independent films, TV shows, web series and has done pharmaceutical/medical voiceover jobs for clients. She wrote and performed sketch comedy and improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) school and other theaters, bars and clubs. She is actively involved in the entertainment industry and is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN), Independent Film Project (IFP), Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV), Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), Freelancers Union and the Consortium of Asian American Theaters & Artists (CAATA). She formerly served as the volunteer Communications Manager at the Film Lab for three years and performed with the Broadway Community Chorus of the National Asian Artists Project (NAAP).
Lil was Associate Producer, Reporter and Host for over 30 episodes of Top of the Morning, After Midnight, The Children’s Corner and An Evening with Kenneth Hari TV shows in Baltimore, Maryland. Lil won six (6) Telly Awards for her work on these shows as both Talent and Associate Producer with McDonagh-Davis & Associates, an award-winning production company with a long history of community involvement in the Baltimore area. She also spent a summer doing a broadcast TV reporter internship in
the “DMV” (DC, MD, VA), where she interviewed firefighters, EMS, police officers and detectives during the overnight hours for the local affiliate news networks (NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX).
Lil has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She completed the UX/UI Design certification program at CUNY in 2019. She trained with Giles Foreman, Janet Amsden (East Enders) and Lysandre Mbappe (Casting Director) at The Giles Foreman Centre for Acting. She studied with Chinese-American Actor Tzi Ma (Disney’s Mulan 2020). She also trained with Mike Lemon and his staff at Mike Lemon Casting, Lloyd Williamson, Larry Moss (audit), Alan Gordon, Larry Silverberg (Meisner), Ted Brunetti and many others.
